Dean of Educational Services Participates in GCC and National E-Learning Forums to Advance AI-Driven Education

In alignment with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University’s (PSAU) commitment to fostering digital transformation and academic innovation, Dr. Mashael AlBaidani, Dean of Educational Services, participated in two high-level regional and national forums focused on the future of e-learning and artificial intelligence (AI) in higher education.
Dr. AlBaidani took part in the 24th Meeting of the Committee of E-Learning Officials in Higher Education Institutions of the GCC States, held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, and organized by the National Center for E-Learning. The meeting brought together leading experts, policymakers, and representatives from Gulf universities to discuss strategic directions and governance frameworks for AI in education.
During the event, participants showcased innovative case studies on the integration of AI in university learning environments, including the presentation of the AI Sandbox, an experimental platform that exemplifies the synergy between technology and pedagogy in advancing digital learning.
Continuing her active engagement in shaping the educational future of Saudi universities, Dr. AlBaidani also participated in the 13th Meeting of the Deans’ Committee for E-Learning and Distance Education, held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, under the theme “Artificial Intelligence and the Transformation of University Education.”
The meeting addressed several national initiatives, such as leveraging AI for digital content development, the University E-Learning Coalition Initiative, and the promotion of digital academic communities. Participants also reviewed the committee’s annual achievements within the framework of Saudi Arabia’s comprehensive digital education transformation.
Dr. AlBaidani emphasized that these forums represent “an important step toward building a sustainable, intelligent learning ecosystem that aligns with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 objectives.” She reaffirmed PSAU’s commitment to local and regional collaboration, academic excellence, and technological leadership in education.
These participations highlight the Deanship of Educational Services’ continuous efforts to enhance cooperation across national and GCC institutions, promote knowledge partnerships, and advance digital learning environments in support of Saudi Vision 2030.
